What is the Super Brain Program?
The Super Brain Program is a structured, Occupational Therapist-led intervention designed to support individuals living with cognitive decline or impairment. The program aims to help clients maintain their highest level of function in daily life by using targeted therapies to stimulate and train specific areas of the brain.
Each program is individually tailored to suit the client’s unique needs, lifestyle, and cognitive profile — ensuring a personalised and meaningful approach to cognitive care. Our clinicians take the time to understand what matters most to the individual, drawing on their personal history, interests, and routines to make every session purposeful and engaging.

Is this program right for your client?
The Super Brain Program is ideal for individuals who have:
- A diagnosis of early-stage dementia
- Mild to moderate dementia, who are able to follow prompts and complete guided tasks with no significant behavioural challenges
- Noticeable cognitive decline without a formal diagnosis of dementia
- Post-stroke cognitive impairment affecting memory, attention, or executive function
- Acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions where cognitive support may assist with daily functioning and independence
What’s included in the initial consultation?
We explore the client’s lifestyle, career history, hobbies, interests, travel, and significant life events to formulate a meaningful and engaging activity plan.
A thorough evaluation of cognitive strengths and weaknesses using validated tools. Multiple assessments may be used to obtain a comprehensive understanding.
We address concerns, answer questions, and ensure the plan aligns with the client’s and family’s goals and preferences.
What happens after the initial consultation?
Following the initial consultation, the client receives a detailed, personalised activity plan developed by our qualified Occupational Therapists. Ongoing one-on-one sessions are then provided, focusing on activities and tasks that are:
- Appropriate to the client’s current cognitive and physical ability
- Challenging enough to stimulate progress
- Achievable to promote a sense of accomplishment and purpose
Who Else May Be Involved?
In addition to cognitive support, our Occupational Therapists assess overall physical function and, where appropriate, may involve Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists to design a tailored exercise program aimed at improving strength, cardiovascular fitness, and balance.
All programs are customised to the client’s health status and functional level to ensure safety and effectiveness.
